Due to popular demand we sneaked in another HOGS venue at the end of the holiday period and our 4rd HOGS golf day was held at The Lambourne Club on the 31st August. Jerry Browne once again stepped up to the mark & did a great job in finding this one – well done Jerry! We had 24 HOGS members & guests and were treated to a challenging course, which was in great condition – particularly the greens! Once again we received excellent hospitality & thanks go to the team at The Lambourne Club who made our day a real pleasure.
For the golf enthusiasts the average individual members stableford score for the day was 27 points, which is low however reflects the clever hidden contours of the relatively large greens.
Congratulations go to all 14 winners particularly the winning team (below) who scored an astonishing 91 points and comprised; Peter Kilby (Garenne Interiors), Zamir Hirji (Ashley Hotels) Tony Clark (Zeal Projects) & Vraj Pankhania (Westcombe Group)
Congratulations also go to James Coffey (J Coffey Construction) (below left) for winning the best guest prize. Peter Kilby (Garenne Interiors) & Tony Clark (Zeal Projects) also won the nearest the pin prizes on 2 of the par 3 holes.
The claret jug awarded for the best HOGS members score was won by Shaun Talbot (RBS) (below right) with a commendable 39 points – well done Shaun & your handicap will be adjusted for West Hill!
