Sedgemoor District Council granted a variation to the original planning permission yesterday enabling Zeal Hotels to construct a 138-bedroom hotel at the Regional Rural Business Centre off Junction 24 of the M5 motorway.

There is presently a severe shortage of hotel accommodation within the Bridgwater area & as the Hinkley Point Nuclear Power Station Project takes shape & more UK residents are taking UK based holidays in the South West, the demand for quality accommodation is increasing.

Zeal Projects is pleased to be appointed as Project Manager and is looking forward to working with local companies throughout the construction period. Work is due to commence on site in Jan 2018 and the hotel is due to open for Christmas 2018.
