Zeal Projects confirms that work has commenced on site for the development of a new “Room 2” apart-hotel in Southampton on behalf of the Lamington Group.

Zeal Projects is appointed as Project Manager & Cost Consultant for this new apart-hotel development. This city centre property is strategically located adjacent to the Ocean Village Yacht Marina and opposite the Red Funnel ferry terminal. The Lamington Group are based in Hammersmith and since 1967 have been a leading provider of short & long-term accommodation throughout West London. This additional project in Southampton will add further rooms to their increasing UK portfolio.

Garenne Interiors has been appointed as the main contractor to transform this former office building into a 71 bed “Room 2” apart-hotel and opening is scheduled for Feb 2018.

Architects & interior designers Project Orange has carefully designed the “Room 2” concept & have taken advantage of the high floor to ceiling heights in this particular building to incorporate extra accommodation for the increasing family market in this coastal location.
